Rainforest Adventures St Maarten - Rockland Estate
Glide to the top of St. Maarten’s highest point on the Sky Explorer where a 360-degree vista includes neighboring islands. Fly high on the Sentry Hill Zip Line over the mountain ridge enjoying the stunning views then enjoy the Sky Explorer back down.
Embark the Sky Explorer for the approximately 25-minute ride to the top of Sentry Hill, St. Maarten’s highest elevation at 1,125 feet. A series of platforms encircle the mountaintop showcasing 360-degree views of the whole island including vistas of neighboring islands Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts and Anguilla.
After an orientation, you will put your safety equipment and harness system for your exhilarating Sentry Hill Zip Line flight over the mountain ridge.
To complete your thrill ride, enjoy a final trip on the Sky Explorer.
After your fun-filled adventure, select your favorite photo and video then enjoy exploring the Estate and sampling St. Maarten delicacies, snacks and beverages at the restaurant.

Great day. But description needs 2 be clearer . As we looked at we believed the zipline was included but had 2 pay $40 extra If you want the flying dutchman zip line .

This was hands down the best event. Highly recommend! If you’re staying in Saint Martin you have to try this out
Flying Dutchman & Views

We paid for all three attractions but wish we would have only done the Flying Dutchman. The chairlift is slow but the views of the island are beautiful. Don’t forget to put your name on the list once you get to the top.

The Schooner was closed but we still had a good time. I don’t remember who the individual was who went on the zip line with us but he was very nice. We asked him about his experience and shared our experiences with adrenaline rushes and adventures. The views were amazing!

phantastic views over the entire island. The lift uphill was too slow but exciting, the zipline really nice although not as "hard" as I had thought. Nice experience, though.
Criticism:
1) the is quite a bit of garbage in the woods underneath the lift. I am aware that customer left it there, shame on them - but can´t you clean it up a bit?
2)up on the platform in the waiting line to enter the ZIPline, they ask us to fill out a waiting list. What is that for? Why do they want to know in which hotel we are staying?
3) And the "Lady" (sitting direclty behind the bar) telling us to enter our name into the Waiting list was extremely rude, shouting at us, explaining nothing. The waiting itself of over an hour in the heat with no shadow was not optimal.
4) The Café near the entrance was closed - no fun, when you have waited over an hour in the heat to get you seat belt fastened for the ZIP and you would like to have a drink afterwards at at least an iced coffee.
All in all: expensive, somewhat not perfectly organized. The behaviour of the "Lady" up on the platform was unacceptable.
You improve on the overall experience, you deserve 5 stars. Not right now.

Disappointing. Single zip line. Steep but slowed down by the wind. Long bus ride, long ride up the tram to the top. 35 seconds down the hill. Stand around for an hour and wait for the return bus. Had plenty of time for a second or third run but, nope, 35 seconds is all you get. We sat at a patio outside the closed restaurant and they chased us off to take down the shade canopy! The little museum was informative and entertaining. Lots of iguanas to relieve the boredom.
